One of the definitions of aromatic was having a distinct quality. During this holiday season, smell good. Yes, shower but that is not what I mean. Have this distinct aromatic spirit of love, respect, and generosity with family, friends, strangers, retail store workers (they need love too), and everyone on planet, Earth.
Many people have been complaining about how terrible 2016 is/was. But you know what? There is still time to do good in the world.
Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.-Ephesians 5:1-2
Jesus had an amazing aroma with the people who loved Him and hated Him (and even the unconventional people).
Have the aroma of grace with the store clerk (they would probably like to be home with their family so love on them).
Have the aroma of respect with people who have different ideals and viewpoints.
Have an aroma of generosity for the less fortunate and lonely people during the holidays.
And lastly, enjoy the aromatic food you partake, because I want you all to do that.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!
Blissfully,
Bianca
