A Communal Purpose

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”-Luke 2:13-14

Whether it was the wise men, the shepherds, the animals, the angels, there was a communal purpose: Jesus. People came from all walks and all status to see the baby. Jesus, the baby, would transcend race, gender, religion, socioeconomic status, tribe, tongue, and eternity itself. I know it is easy to lose sight of true meaning of Christmas with activities, shopping, and the like. But remember the purpose is Jesus. Enjoy Jesus with the ones you love.
