An extravagant life is something I dreamed about. I wanted the big home, enough money to live by, beautiful cars, and more like the celebrities. I thought since they had everything, they would be happy. But I would see the likes of celebrities who have everything go into rehab, get arrested, or worse… lose their life.
In 2017, I had good days and bad days. In the bad days and days of uncertainty, God blessed me with genuine friends and family. to love, support, and guide me in my situation. In the happy moments, my support system loved me and cheered me on. The real, consistent people in my life mattered to me this year. They are the riches that make me extravagant and happy.
There were many admirers this year of my big accomplishments. I only hope I matter beyond the excitement of my accomplishments in 2018.
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.-James 1:17
